The EPA Blog offers an unabashed insight into Administrator Scott Pruitt’s environrmental philosophy. In his view, a healthy economy and healthy environment are so equivalent the agency need only work on the former in order to protect the latter. Blog posts focus mainly on his contribution to economic growth, job creation, and related sycophancy. The video below set the tone of his administration early. Posted on May 4, 2017, it features U.S. Senator John Barrasso of Wyoming explaining that his constituents already had a “spring in their step” in anticipation of Pruitt’s war against the “regulatory rampage” of the former Obama administration.  Barrasso  is one of the lead climate deniers in Washington, boasts a lifetime voting record of 8% from the League of Conservation Voters, and is chair of the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works. He recently declined to hold hearings on the rapidlly growing list of scandals surrounding Administrator Pruitt.
