Constitution Marsh Audubon Center boardwalk and view of Storm King Mountain in the Hudson River Highlands

A visit to the Constitution Marsh Audubon Center, a Hudson River tidal marsh in Putnam County, is one of the Valley’s best autumn outings. Depicted here is just one leg of the boardwalk that winds through the mid-section of the marsh to a view of Storm King Mountain in the Hudson Highlands. As you can see, this day brought a particularly high tide. Pace students hike and paddle here each year, led by sanctuary director Eric Lind. Pace’s partnership with Eric and the Audubon Center is one of the many assets our students and faculty enjoy through the Dyson College Institute for Sustainability and the Environment, and our Department of Environmental Science and Studies.
